Post the launch of Project Amruthavarshini in 2017, three ponds have been restored so far, the Ayyanar and Nandikulam in the temple town of Tiruvaiyaru and the Oothukulam in Tiruvannamalai. The restored ponds are getting filled in during the rains and it is a pleasant sight to see them evolving into the much needed watery patch. Work is in progress at Chidambaram at the Ayyee Kulam and the Gnanaprakasam pond.
